Job Description – The Director of Educational Initiatives is an addition to the Residential Life Leadership Team and will report directly to the Executive Director.  The person in this position will provide leadership to the department’s Residential Learning Model [RLM], a curricular approach to programming and educational opportunities for residential students, and will partner with the Executive Director of First Year Programs and Learning Communities and their staff to coordinate the academic initiatives within Residential Life’s 19 Residential Learning Communities. Additional responsibilities include, instructing the EPSY 3235 Resident Assistant class through the NEAG School of Education, coordination of the mid-semester grades warning program, which includes outreach to students who are struggling academically; oversight for grade reports/statistics based on residential assignments; and other department responsibilities at the discretion of the Executive Director of Residential Life.
