Off-Campus Student Services is hosting the first Fall Festival on Thursday, October 29th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This event will take place on the Carriage House Lawn located on Hunting Lodge Road. ALL off-campus students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Both UConn food trucks will be present and FREE for all Off-Campus UConn Students who attend. There will also free t-shirts, pumpkin painting and more.
Representatives from various departments at the University of Connecticut will be there to provide information and answer questions for students living off-campus. Town and University officials will be present as well as various UConn departments such as Wellness and Prevention Services, SUBOG, and Student Activities.
“This event is an opportunity for us (UConn) to engage students in a fun environment while making clear the expectations of the upcoming Halloween weekend. Our t-shirt design really captures the message to students, “Don’t act like a Zombie, party like your Mummy’s watching,” basically have fun and make good decisions.” John Armstrong, Director of Off-Campus Student Services.
We hope that students will attend and take advantage of all of the resources available to them. We will ask students to please have their Student ID present with them at the event.
