Stewardship Award nominations close today at 5:00pm!
In recognition of the work of our outgoing officers, the Student Activities Leadership Office is holding open nominations for four awards based on Tier III Student Organizations’ work in the four areas of stewardship. The Tier III Student Organizations are:
- The Daily Campus
- GUARD Dogs (a USG Program)
- Nutmeg Publishing
- UConn PIRG
- Residence Hall Association (RHA)
- Student Union Board of Governors (SUBOG)
- Undergraduate Student Government (USG)
These 9 student fee-funded organizations participate in the year-long Triad Leadership Program, which is based on the core values of integrity, stewardship, and community. The Stewardship Awards recognize outstanding work in the area of ‘stewardship.’ This year the Stewardship Awards will be presented during the Student Life Awards on April 14, 2016.
The Stewardship Awards consist of four awards based on these organizations’ work in the four areas of stewardship: Constituents (the student body), Members, Assets, and Administrator Relations. These areas represent the core functions of responsibility that all Tier III organizations work on during the year. The Triad Leadership Program will present an award to the most successful student organization for each area of stewardship.
We need YOU to nominate one of these organizations who you feel has successfully made an impact in any of these areas! All Tier III organizations are welcome to be nominated by members, advisors, staff, and administration. Nominations are due March 25th at 5PM.
