Please Welcome LaKeya Francis

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is excited to announce that our staff is growing and that LaKeya Francis will be joining the OFSL team as Assistant Director starting June 8th!

Keya graduated from UConn in May 2012 with a bachelor degree in English. While at UConn, Keya joined the Lambda Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was heavily involved on campus. Since graduating from UConn, Keya has earned a graduate degree in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University and has held special payroll positions within the UConn Department of Student Activities (Major Events & Programs) since 2015. As an alumna of the UConn fraternity and sorority community, Keya has volunteered on numerous occasions as a facilitator and presenter for OFSL-sponsored initiatives.

As the Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life, Keya will be responsible for advising governing councils, fraternity and sorority chapters, planning annual events and programs, and supervising graduate and undergraduate student staff. Additionally, Keya will get the opportunity to represent the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life on various Division of Student Affairs and university-wide committees. We are confident that Keya will add another layer of success to our efforts and help to further the mission of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. We are lucky that she has decided to join our team.

If you see Keya on campus, please congratulate her and help to officially welcome her to the Division of Student Affairs. Congratulatory messages can be sent to
